ToteŽ Tilt discharge stations are designed to fit many product applications for emptying ToteŽ side door containers. A durable station, which allows a bin to be loaded and operated manually or automatically, it can be used to discharge by gravity or directly into a screw conveyor, rotary feeder, etc. The operation is very simple with few moving parts. The operator simply places the container on the tilt, activates the pneumatic valve and the frame tilts 45° to mate with a seal on the hopper that completely seals around the door of the container. The operator then inserts a key wrench through an access door of the hopper to rotate the locking cam on the door. Once the door is open, the container will discharge as quickly as the receiving equipment will handle. An optional piston vibrator can be mounted beneath the container to initiate flow for sticky or compacted materials. Modifications to the design allow for many variations to meet your exact specifications. |
